We Aim To Provide Tailored Care And Information To Support Your Oral Health Needs.

We believe everyone deserves access to quality dental care. We also recognise that financial considerations can sometimes delay treatment, which is why we offer flexible and accessible payment plan options across all of our services.

Our welcoming team is here to support you every step of the way, including helping you understand and navigate our dental payment solutions. We encourage patients to take the time to explore all available payment options if they wish to do so, before commencing treatment and to seek advice from their private health insurer, family members, or a trusted financial professional. Please note that loan terms, interest rates, fees, and repayment amounts may vary depending on individual credit assessments.

Multiple Payment Options Include:

Payment plans allow eligible patients to spread the cost of treatment over time. We use a variety of third party providers to offer up to 60 months interest free payment plans to eligible patients.

*Payment plan options offered through third-party providers and are subject to their eligibility criteria, terms and conditions. Additional fees may apply. Please speak to our team or your provider for full details.

Patients may choose to pay for their treatment upfront, either out-of-pocket or by using their available health insurance benefits. Paying upfront can simplify the process and may reduce the need for ongoing repayments.

If you have private health insurance with extras cover, you may be eligible to claim a portion of your treatment costs. The exact rebate will depend on your provider, level of cover, and annual limits. Our team can assist with on-the-spot claims where available and help you understand your estimated out-of-pocket expenses before treatment begins.

We recommend contacting your health fund directly to confirm your eligibility and benefits.

Disclaimer: Dental Boutique™ does not provide financial advice or recommendations. Please consult a financial professional or the ATO before making any decisions to withdraw from your superannuation.

In limited circumstances, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) may allow patients to apply for compassionate release of superannuation to help pay for essential dental treatment. (Please note that the eligibility of a family member is determined within the definitions provided by the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993.)

The eligibility for compassionate release of super for dental is below. The ATO can only approve a release of your super on compassionate grounds if you meet all of the conditions listed below:

Condition 1* – you meet the eligibility requirements of the compassionate ground you’re applying for. The specific eligibility criteria related to dental is Medical (treatment or transport).

Medical treatment – There are two sub-conditions to meet to be eligible:

*Sub Condition 1 – you or your dependant must require medical treatment to treat a life-threatening illness or injury, to alleviate acute or chronic pain OR to alleviate acute or chronic mental illness.

*Sub Condition 2 – the medical treatment you (or your dependant) need is not readily available through the public health system.

Condition 2 – you have not yet paid the expense. The ATO can only approve compassionate release of super to help you with unpaid expenses. If you have already paid the expense using a loan, a credit card, or other means, you do not meet the eligibility requirements.

Condition 3 – you can’t afford to pay part or all the expenses without accessing your super. That is, you can’t pay the expense by getting a loan, using your savings, or selling shares/investments/assets.

Condition 4 – you are or have been a citizen or permanent resident of Australia.

Condition 5* – you provide all required supporting clinical evidence and financial evidence. If your application doesn’t include all supporting evidence, there may be delays in assessing it or it may not be approved.

*Financial Evidence: To assess your application, the ATO will also need to see the unpaid expenses that show the amounts you’re seeking to release from your super account. This can include an itemised quote or an unpaid invoice that shows the amount and a description of each component. You will need to provide a treatment plan to show how those unpaid expenses are connected to the medical treatment you submit in your application.

*Clinical Evidence: You will need to provide two (2) written medical reports to validate the treatment plan, connecting those unpaid expenses. One from a Medical or Dental Specialist and another from a Dentist or Medical Practitioner. The registered medical specialist must be specialised in the area in which they are giving their opinion. The medical reports must be completed, signed and dated less than six months before you submit your application.

Significant penalties can apply if you are looking for loopholes to access super illegally or mislead to access your super early. This can include the withdrawn amount being included in your assessable income, which means you will have to pay additional income tax, tax shortfall penalties and interest. It may also affect Centrelink or benefit payments.

The Process

All finance applications are assessed and approved (or declined) by the third-party finance provider. Dental Boutique™ does not determine eligibility or approval outcomes.

Your journey begins with a consultation. A registered dentist will assess your oral health, discuss your concerns, and explain potential treatment options that may suit your needs.

Treatment Plan Creation

(Following the consultation, a personalised treatment plan will be put together. This outlines the recommended options, associated costs, and timing of appointments.)

Exploring Payment Plan Options

(Our Patient Coordinator will then guide you through the third-party finance providers available. They’ll explain how each plan works, what the eligibility requirements may be, and answer any questions you might have).

Application Process

(If you decide to proceed with a payment plan, your consultant will support you through the application process, either online or in-clinic. The application is submitted directly to the third-party finance provider).

Approval and Next Steps

(If your application is approved, repayments will be set up with the provider, and you can begin treatment as outlined in your plan).
