What Are All On Implants™

All on Implants is a dental procedure designed to replace missing teeth along with the supporting gum structure. It may be suitable for people experiencing multiple missing teeth, advanced gum disease, severe tooth decay, or for those who find traditional dentures uncomfortable or ineffective.

The procedure involves placing 4 or more dental implants into the jaw to support a full arch of fixed replacement teeth. This approach is intended as an alternative to removable dentures and is planned to help restore both function and appearance. In some cases, treatment may be completed in as little as three days, depending on individual needs.

Each treatment plan is customised based on factors such as bone density, oral health, and the number of teeth being replaced. Individual outcomes vary. Results depend on factors such as bone quality, healing response, and oral hygiene. This treatment is not suitable for everyone. Your dentist will assess your circumstances, explain potential risks, and discuss alternatives. Treatment risks and considerations can be found here.

Our 5D™ Smile Design Approach

At Anew Smile, we use a structured planning process to support patients considering treatments such as All On Implants™. Each step involves your input, ensuring that the treatment plan reflects your needs, preferences, and oral health considerations.

Step 1: Discover

Your dentist will determine whether this treatment may be suitable for you through a comprehensive assessment. This includes reviewing your dental history, discussing your goals and concerns, and evaluating how you smile, speak, and bit

Step 2: Design

Once assessed, if treatment is considered appropriate, 3D scans are taken to assist with the planning and design of your All on Implants. Prior to surgery, these scans are used by your dentists to create a digital simulation of how your proposed smile design may look.* *Any previews provided are indicative only and will not reflect the exact outcome, as results vary from patient to patient.

Step 3: Decide

We encourage you throughout the planning process to voice your feedback, adjustments, concerns or questions before we proceed with treatment.

Step 4: Deliver

On the day of your surgery, implants are placed and temporary teeth are delivered usually 24 hours later. The teeth are carefully reviewed and adjusted as needed. Depending on the clinical situation, the final restoration may be placed within 2–3 days of surgery or after a longer healing period of 3–4 months.

Step 5: Detail

Once your final restoration is in place, continued care and attention to detail are key. Routine reviews and maintenance appointments support the long-term health and performance of your implants, with adjustments made where needed to enhance comfort, function, and aesthetics.
