About Dr Astrid
Dr Astrid began her career as a dental assistant and immediately knew dentistry was her calling. Starting in general practice, she quickly realised how rewarding it is to be involved in transforming smiles, making the move to cosmetic dentistry a natural step. She enjoys expanding her knowledge through professional courses and collaborating with other skilled, like-minded professionals.
Dr Astrid is now broadening her scope of practice into the rehabilitation side of dentistry, with a keen interest in dental implants and oral surgery.
Knowledge
Dr Astrid studied a Bachelor of Dental Science at UQ, graduating with Class I Honours. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) with the ACDP and has completed ADA training in neuromodulator/botulinum toxin therapy to treat TMD.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Astrid enjoys the gym, an afternoon cocktail, reading, and planning must-dine restaurants for her next international adventure.
